At Tranquil Touch Cleaning, the health and safety of both clients and cleaners is a top priority. The Company is committed to clear, honest communication about what cleaning tasks can be performed safely and effectively.

Mould and Environmental Hazards

Tranquil Touch Cleaning does not provide mould remediation or biohazard cleanup services. If a property contains significant mould, pest infestation, biohazards, or extreme clutter that may pose a health risk, the Company will respectfully decline service and may refer the client to a qualified specialist.

However, the Company is able to clean light surface mould in areas where it does not present a health hazard.

Acceptable Conditions for Cleaning:

• Light mildew or mould in tubs, shower tiles, and grout lines

• Surface mould on windowsills or caulking that can be removed with standard cleaning products

• Small, dry spots under sinks that are not actively spreading

Unacceptable Conditions:

• Strong, musty odours accompanied by visible, spreading mould patches

• Mould on walls, ceilings, wooden structures, insulation, or HVAC systems

• Mould in areas with active leaks, ongoing moisture issues, or inadequate ventilation

• Any mould that causes physical symptoms such as coughing, irritation, or discomfort upon entering the space

Client Acknowledgement

Clients are encouraged to notify the Company in advance if they are concerned about mould or environmental hazards. The Company is happy to provide guidance, but reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any service where conditions present a health risk.
